This is my very first attempt at “blogging” on the Museum of Carpet website. I am assuming that there is a verb “to blog” as a derivative from the noun “blog”, although I’m not sure that the similar noun “frog” has an equivalent verb “to frog”.

Anyway here goes. Congratulations are in order to Ken and Pat Garbett who were the driving force behind the super quiz night held earlier in the month in support of the Friends of the Museum of Carpet. The event was very well supported and and enjoyed by everyone present.

The next “Friends” event is the Christmas social to be held at the museum on Thursday 4th December,  commencing at 7.15 p.m. The evening will consist of a film show together with the usual Christmas festivities and tickets at £5 per person can be purchased from myself at 25, Spinney Close, Kidderminster, DY11 6DQ (colin.lloyd1@btinternet.com)
