There is lots for families to do at the Museum of Carpet!
- Find out about the history of carpets and learn all about designing and weaving with our interactive exhibits – design a rug and have a go at weaving on a handloom
- Learn all about what life was like for children working in a Victorian carpet factory, and have a go at being a Victorian yourself in our dress-up corner
- Try our Children’s trail – follow clues around the Museum to help Walter the Weaver find a missing piece of his loom
- Keep an eye out for our free children’s craft activities, usually ran during school holidays
If you are unable to visit us soon, you can still get involved with some woolly activities from home! Browse our selection of downloadable seasonal craft instructions.
