The Friends of the Museum of Carpet are holding another Coffee Morning on Friday 15th September at the Museum (adjacent to Morrison’s in Green Street) from 10.00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Besides plenty of coffee and cakes, there will be a display of items from the Museum’s collections and archives and an iconic film show of Carpet Trades Limited from the “Swinging” sixties.
Admission is £5 per person to support the Museum and the function is open to all. There is no need to “book” in advance as anyone can pop in for a coffee and a chat but if you decide to attend in advance, please give Chairman of The Friends, Colin Lloyd a call on 01562 66909 so that we can ensure we order enough cakes and coffee!
