Everybody needs Friends and the Museum of Carpet is no exception..

The Friends of the Museum of Carpet was formed in 2000 and has proved a wonderful source of support to our staff and volunteers ever since.

For £12.50 a year for individual adult membership*, you will get two free tickets to the museum – invitations to private views and parties – priority booking and discounted entry to special public events – opportunity to enter our fundraising lottery, the “Carpet Sweep” – a regular Newsletter containing historical information, carpet industry news and details of activities and opportunities

And in exchange, we receive – a regular source of museum funding through your subscriptions – support and advice from all our Friends that keeps us fresh and up to date – new volunteers as some Friends choose to help with a variety of projects connected with running the museum and preserving the town’s industrial and carpet heritage.
