Visitor Services and Retail Assistant
The Museum of Carpet is looking for a Visitor Services and Retail Assistant who can provide our visitors with a warm welcome and help them have great day out.
You will have great people skills and enjoy working with volunteers. Taking responsibility for keeping the Museum shop well stocked and looking attractive. You will greet visitors, answering their queries, selling shop items, giving introductions to the galleries and helping to maintain the security of the building. You will need to be confident in speaking to strangers and enthusiastic about heritage, art and industry.

Fundraising Assistant
The Museum of Carpet is looking for a Fundraising Assistant who can create, advertise and deliver an exciting and engaging programme of events and exhibitions that will attract visitors and generate income.
You will be well organised and enjoy working with members of the public and volunteers. You will be able to communicate effectively in person, in writing and on line, sharing news and letting people know what’s on at the Museum. You will know what it takes to deliver excellent events that will keep our visitors coming back for more.

Volunteer Co-ordinator
The Museum of Carpet is looking for a Volunteer Co-ordinator who will develop the volunteer team at the Museum of Carpet, making us more efficient and sustainable.
You will be a ‘people person’ whose enthusiasm and energy is infectious. You will be well organised and able to get the right people doing the right jobs. Strategic planning will be essential to ensure that the Museum can grow and develop.
