Secondary

Custom made visits are available for students in Key Stages 3,4 & 5.

Using museum exhibits and specialist items from the museum archive we are able to accommodate project based learning for a range of subjects.   Our collections are especially relevant to students of History, Science, Technology, Art and Design.

The education team can offer workshops and demonstrations that will bring your topic to life.  Students have the opportunity to meet museum volunteers who have a wealth of local knowledge and experience to tap.  The museum collection houses carpets, industrial machinery, images and film, original art and design work, and primary sources for local history studies.    There is nothing like seeing the real thing to inspire learners.
