Images of the Kidderminster Museum of Caroet, Worcestershire. There are many ways you can support the Museum of Carpet.
As a registered charity, we rely on the kind support and generous donations of the public to help continue our work.

If you would like to make a donation to support us, especially to support our educational visits that help us to share and preserve the carpet industry heritage, then we'd love to hear from you.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join our dedicated team, so if you are friendly, enthusiastic and interested in working for a developing museum, we may well be the place for you! Have a look at our volunteer page to learn more about the work our volunteers do and the ways in which you can get involved!
The Museum also has a great Friends group, many of whom also volunteer, who help raise the funds we need to operate.

There are some great perks to becoming a member, so have a look at our Friends page and find out more!

  1. Dear KLL – I am an American military historian During WW1 and WW2 the UK issued posters saying CARPET BEATING STRICTLY PROHIBITED. In theory German spies in the UK would display carpets along the coast to tell Hun submarines a convoy was leaving that night or a recon plane would be alerted to send over bombers for a prime target. I’ve e-mailed searched high and low without even a photo showing up. Any chance you have same or a source? It might make a great KLL entry for the Imperial War Museum.
