Do you like art? Do you want to explore your creativity… and get a nationally recognised qualification? You should be thinking about doing an Arts Award!

Whatever art form you’re interested in, whatever your ability, Arts Award fits you and we are looking to get interest from young people of all ages who would like to do this course based within our Museum.

You can do an Arts Award in any area of the arts from fashion to poetry, rapping to dancing, sculpture to film and we are open to your suggestions.

The award is offered at five levels: Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver or Gold levels, each of which allows you to focus on a single art form or a range of different ones, so you end up with a portfolio that shows off your creativity and gives you a recognised national qualification or award to put on your CV.

With us to guide and support you, you will : take part in different arts activities, be inspired by artists and arts organisations
experience arts events, share your arts skills with others, put together a portfolio or log in your own choice of format, set yourself arts challenges, organise your own projects and research arts careers and the arts sector.
