We are pleased to announce the launch of our audio drama documentaries, Weaving the Town.

The project was led by Caroline Jester. Caroline has interviewed a range of people linked to the carpet industry and to the Museum. We also ran days with St. Bartholomew’s Primary School and Baxter College.
The launch started at 6.30pm and we had speeches and a presentation from 7pm.
The audio drama docs are now available for all our visitors to the Museum. A wonderful way to access the Museum, look at the collections and hear about the history of carpets in Kidderminster.
Read more about the project in an article in the Kidderminster Shuttle.
We are very grateful to the Kidderminster Education Foundation Working Group, Arts Council England, Worcestershire County Council and the Sir Barry Jackson Trust for funding Weaving the Town.
